ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Karen Forsyth
Karen Forsyth is a retired registered nurse with forty years of healthcare experience, including leadership roles as Director of Quality Improvement and Chief Nursing Officer. She holds both her LPN and RN degrees, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to seven grandchildren, Karen’s deep faith has sustained her through life’s trials, including a near-fatal accident, her mother’s fifty-year cancer survival, and her own endometrial cancer diagnosis in 2025. She retired in November 2025 to pursue long-held dreams, including writing this testament to God’s faithfulness. Karen remains a passionate mental health advocate and devoted member of her faith community.
